Vw golf mk4 1.9TDI 150BHP ARL S3 Intercooler

Direct replacement intercooler system for the 150PD model ONLY (Bora/Golf). This particular conversion will bolt directly between the original 150pd water radiator and air-con exchanger. The intercooler is an modified OEM Audi S3 intercooler specialy modified to fit this model. The top two mounting brackets are welded in place via a special jig, plus all four mounting bosses for the radiator and air con exchanger are also welded into place both front and back. The fitting is as per the removal of the original intercooler, simply swop over. In addition we also offer an upgraded aluminium pipe kit + silicone hoses as the original plastic pipes are somtimes in poor condition, ( Pipe kit sold separately ).

Why buy this kit? This intercooler offers an improved performance gain but the other reason is to overcome the plastic to metal coupling of the original which becomes brittle and breaks over time.
